So-called alcohol-free beers can contain 4 to 6 grammes of pure alcohol per litre on average (which corresponds to 1.3 to 2 grammes per 33 cl). Compared with ordinary beer, drinking a litre of alcohol-free beer does not cause a rise in the alcohol level. The small concentration of alcohol that gets in the blood can be quickly eliminated by the liver.
